The Education Division of The SKILLED Group was established in 1997 to respond to the growing need for flexible staffing arrangements within the Education Industry. Origin Education supplies Casual Relief Teachers (CRTs) to Primary and Secondary schools in the North, South, East and Western areas of Melbourne. We are available to all schools, and also provide qualified teachers to Councils, Schools and Recreation centres for their School Holiday Programmes.

Origin Education has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to ensure our teachers are receiving an excellent employment package and that we are providing schools with the very best teachers available.

Origin Education applies no registration fees to teachers. Our contract and casual relief teachers are covered in every way when they teach at a school, including workcover, public liability, professional indemnity insurance and a 9% superannuation contribution.

1. ALL CRTs must have at least 6 months paid continuous teaching in an Australian school (for both primary and secondary teachers). Exempt are new graduates trained in Australia (assuming they fit in one of the following categories below). All must have excellent English-speaking skills.
2. Primary teachers living in the following or nearby suburbs – Croydon, Bayswater, and Mooroolbark.
3. Secondary trained Physical Education teachers.
4. Secondary teachers with methods in Maths/Science living in Altona, St Albans, Sunshine or nearby suburbs.
5. Applicants with private transport will have more favourable prospects for obtaining CRT work.
